Clow has recently procured a new Faro Edge scanning arm. The Faro offers 3D inspection capability to include 3D laser scanning.
We are running Polyworks 2014 IR3 software which links to solid model files from our cad department for accurate inspection of products manufactured. In addition, the 3D scanning option provides an exceptional reverse engineering capability.
Quality Technicians are currently getting a general understanding of the gauge and software prior to full in-house training this fall.
We are pleased to add this state of the art inspection capability to our facility.
