Significant growth during the last three years peaked in early 2012 and presented CSC with some challenges in meeting the on-time delivery requirements of our customers.
To avoid compromising deliveries, several solutions have been implemented. In addition to the ongoing 72,000 sq ft expansion, 2.9 million in equipment purchases were made. To alleviate a labor shortage, a weekend shift was developed.
Eight weeks after the development of our weekend shift, we have seen a significant reduction of 47% in over booked press hours. We will continue working 24/7 and expect to be back on schedule within 4-5 weeks.
